Kettlebell Core Blast: Power Up Your Midsection with Dynamic Workouts
Start with feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and the kettlebell on the floor in front of you, tips towards your shins. Squat down to grab the handle with both hands, shoulder back and chest up, and then swing the kettlebell forwards between legs until it’s in front of you at shoulder height (contracting glutes, quads, and core). That’s one rep.
Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width apart, holding the kettlebell by the handle in your right hand, and extend the left leg behind you so that your back knee hovers just above the ground. With the help of your core, slowly lower the kettlebell to the outside of the heel of your left foot in a single-leg squat position, then push into your right foot and straighten your body to raise to standing position. Repeat for a total of 10 reps, then switch legs and complete the same number of reps on the other side.
